With more than 200 sunny days and a temperate year-round climate, the Pawleys Island area is a paradise for beach goers, offering endless hours of swimming, surfing, sailing, and other sun and sand favorites.

Pawleys is a 3.5 long island with a laid back atmosphere. The town is known for being simple beyond modern conveniences. Pawleys is the perfect unspoiled family beach location. It is also known for its Rice Plantations, Hammock Shops and the leisurely, laid back atmosphere and lifestyle.

GREENHAVEN = GOLF VILLAS (4 units)
Our Greenhaven units are first-floor, four bedroom and three full bath homes/condos (~2000 square feet). They are immediately adjacent to each other which makes renting for larger groups ideal. Their proximity to each other is advantageous for family reunions, weddings, golf get-together's, anniversaries or multiple-family vacations. They are three years young and located in the Greenhaven next to the Avian Forest community tucked between the Reserve and Tradition golf courses.

They are located approximately half a mile from the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort which you will have rights to use, as our guests. The Litchfield Resort has access to one of the finest beaches in South Carolina. The Resort has seven, private, lighted tennis courts (free), a fitness center (free), a Starbucks, Webster's Restaurant, a gift shop, jogging and bike paths, and a spectacular lazy river and pool complex which you will also have the right to use and a luxurious onsite pool.

Our homes/condos have been professionally decorated. Each room is unique and appealing. Every home has four bedrooms, two are kings which can be separated into two extra long twins and the other two bedrooms have two separate extra long twin beds. Each bedroom has a TV and DVD player. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully equipped for all your cooking needs.

The dining area accommodates eight comfortably for meals, and the living room has two sofas, a plush chair, and a 27 inch TV/VCR or DVD. There are two screened-in porches in each unit. Linens and housekeeping are provided. The Greenhaven pool is a 30-second walk away.

Dec 1 - Mar 31: 11 miles of ocean front beach. 4th floor, spectacular ocean front, 1BD/1BA, full galley kitchen, 32" LCD television, 2 queen beds, indoor pool, indoor jacuzzi, 7 lighted tennis courts, bike paths, 2 bikes, 2 beach chairs + beach umbrella, free wireless internet access, free fitness center and gym. From a golfer's perspective, our condos are a five-minute drive to seven (7) spectacular public golf courses: Caledonia, True Blue, Willbrook, Pawleys Plantation, The River Club, Heritage, The Tradition, and the Litchfield Country Club. Golfing is a year-round event in our wonderful laid-back community.

Tennis

Among the many outstanding recreational amenities at the Litchfield Beach & Golf is one of the finest tennis facilities on the east coast. The Litchfield Racquet Club has been highlighted in numerous tennis publications and has been hailed as one to the Top 50 Resorts in the country by Tennis Magazine. The Litchfield Racquet club is the largest tennis complex in the area featuring 17 superbly maintained Har-Tru courts (clay), 3 of which are lighted.

We are less than 30 minutes away from Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, water rides, Margaritaville and all the fun and excitement that Myrtle Beach has to offer. Murrel's Inlet is a 10-minute drive and is the seafood capital of South Carolina which offers over 60 great restaurants, fishing, parasailing and crabbing. Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina with a quaint seaport, is a 20 minute drive, and offers rice plantation tours and historical places to visit.

Brookgreen Gardens (less than two miles away), one of the top five botanical gardens in the US, has sculptures, gardens, nature walks, alligator viewing, a mini zoo, and a riverboat ride. Charleston, with all of its charm and grace, is the new "hot spot" for fine dining according to the New York Times (March 15, 2006). It is approximately 65 miles south of Litchfield. Touring Charleston, you can enjoy carriage rides, plantation tours and a visit to the historic markets.

There are two major grocery stores and several restaurants less than half a mile away, and also a Blockbuster.

The major reasons why families and golfers love our area, the oldest seaside resort in America, are the wonderful white eight-mile, long sandy beaches, where you can rent bikes and ride them on the beach at low tide and the plethora of championship golf courses.
