Our historic cottage is a generously spacious 2400 sq ft. Warmly and comfortably furnished it is an excellent getaway for couples, small families or reunion groups looking for privacy and value. It has two queen size bedrooms with shared bath, a master suite with an a queen size bed, sunken tub & designer shower. An additional twin bed is located in a small room just off the master BR but would be best for small children. The master suite has french doors opening onto a private porch. The layout of the cottage allows for easy movement and ample room for socializing or privacy. The cottage has covered porches on 3 sides, fruit trees and flowering landscaping. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to antique stores, restaurants, banks etc. Area beaches are a short drive and the historic Sponge Docks area along the Anclote River can be reached in about a 15 minute walk. Two blocks away is beautiful Spring Bayou with its landscaped walkways, fishing and manatee watching. Next to it is Craig Park which has tennis courts, a boat launch and wonderful old oak trees..it is a favorite of wedding photographers. The Pinellas Trail is also 2 blocks away..excellent for jogging,bike riding, rollerblading,etc.
