Luxurious bungalow fronting on 35 acre lake at Vizcaya Falls (a new gated community) in Port St. Lucie, which is about 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach Airport and an hour and a half from Orlando. Pets are welcomed!!!!! There are 3 PGA Championship "public play" golf courses (Pete Dye and Tom Fazio), a 35 acre Golf Learning Center, and a golf historical museum all about 5 minutes from the house. The green fees are very reasonable with discounts at various times of the year. The New York Mets spring training facility is less than 5 minutes away at Tradition Field (home of the Port St. Lucie Mets). Deep sea fishing is available out of Fort Pierce and Jensen Beach.

The beaches on the Atlantic Ocean (Hutchinson Island) are about 25 to 30 minutes. Local attractions include the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center, the St. Lucie County Marine Center featuring the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit, the Savannas Preserve State Park (Education Center) with 5,100 acres with alligators, bobcats, rabbits, herons, raccoons, tortoises, lizards and bald eagles, the Oxbow Eco Center, the Heathcote Botanical Gardens, and unlimited beaches and parks (some with boardwalks). Major shopping facilities and restaurants are close by for convenience.

The West Palm Beach Airport is only 50 miles away and Orlando (Disney World) is about 100 miles.

The house (1,881 sq. ft. "under air"), was built as a "furnished model" in 2006 and has numerous upgrades including hardwood floors, granite kitchen counters, crown moldings and ceilings of 10 feet throughout. All doors in the house have been upgraded to 9 feet in height. The 2 bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house (home is ideal for 2 couples or overnight guests) and there are 2 "full" bathrooms servicing the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a "walk-in" closet and the ensuite bathroom has "his and her" sinks. At the peak of the US real estate market in 2006-2007, this property was worth in excess of $400,000.00. The upgrades inside the house, all in US Dollars, were $125,000.00, the lot, on the lake, a $40,000.00 premium and the furniture package (comparable to "Art Shoppe" furniture) was valued at $50,000.00. The "master" bathroom has a separate shower plus an oval "soaker" tub and a "private door entry" to the toilet area. The kitchen is "fully" equipped with a fridge with ice maker/water dispenser, dishwasher, stove/cook top, and microwave in addition to dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.

There is a wood paneled den/office/study with a 50" Samsung plasma TV and high speed internet connection. The "great room/family room" is just off the kitchen and there is a breakfast/lunch eating area in this section and a sliding glass door that leads out to the lake. There is a Sharp LCD TV in the cabinet with a DVD player and a counter TV in the kitchen to watch Opray Winfrey while dinner is being prepared!!!! The kitchen area has a "sit at the bar" area with bar stools.

The formal living room and dining rooms are between the kitchen and the den/office/study with the 2nd bedroom with a bay window near the front of the house. There is a separate laundry room with an access area to the 2 car "built-in" garage with automatic door openers and pavers for the driveway.

Facilities within the complex (pictures illustrate) include a "resort" style pool, an exercise/gym room with "free weights", tennis court, children's play area with water sprayers, a white sand beach area with a beach volleyball court, and other facilities not shown (full size outdoor basketball court, billiard lounge and TV lounge in the clubhouse).

No motorized boats or Sea-Doos are permitted on the lake however canoes, paddle boats and small sailboats are allowed.

Rent includes everything except long distance phone calls. The cable TV includes the enhanced "digital/high def" package. Lower rental rates for "off season" (May 1 to October 30) and slightly higher rental for more than 2 people during entire stay. There is no premium charge for periodical overnight guests during your stay.
