Upon entering from the lanai and through the 8' glass entry doors is your Living Room - comfy couches sit beside the two sided gas fireplace. Above the fireplace is a flat screen with DVD which rotates, making the fireplace and TV also viewable from the bedroom and the JACUZZI tub (which is set in bay window-just steps away from the bed. Take a long hot soak with all the bay windows open and read a book with the overhead lighting on...a PERFECT way to cap off an AMAZING day of hiking through the trails, or sight seeing VOLCANO. This home offers stunning views of the gardens from all areas.
Along trails and in the gardened and natural yard, there are several places to sit, lounge, swing and enjoy. You'll find you can watch the forest and birds endlessly. While we opted for easy and instant heat in the rooms, we do have a campfire pit to satisfy that campfire feeling. There are warm jackets and an umbrella to help you pack less and enjoy this beautiful area rain or shine. Besides the Park, you need only walk out the door for beautiful walks, bird watching, and scenery.
**THE GARDEN SUITE**
This separate Suite downstairs from the Maile Tree House can be used as the 2nd bedroom/bath to Maile Treehouse or as a hotel type accommodation on it's own.
The bed can be set as a King or two Twins. It has its own Entrance, Bathroom, and Lanai. Your Lanai offers you a beautiful view and a cozy electric throw to cuddle while drinking your coffee or hot chocolate...or a cold drink from the mini fridge on the hot and sunny days.
THERE IS ALWAYS A view ...no matter what you do! And a great oversized shower too!

HILO TOWN 35 minutes away our largest and seaside town with all a town has to offer-- ADDITIONALLY there are many of the same amenities in that area as well BEACH Parks, WATERFALLS, MUSEUMS, BOTANICAL GARDENS, ZOO, Astronomy Center. 30 MINUTES in the opposite direction is PUNALUU BLACK SAND BEACH, home to many Sea Turtles.
There is so much to take in while visiting VOLCANO... HIKING in the Park, WARM WATER PONDS, SNORKELING beaches, BLACK SAND BEACHES, CAVES, GOLF, MUSEUMS, ART GALLERY, RESTAURANTS, current events... SO MUCH MORE!! HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK- one of the State's most visited attractions, you might even get a chance for a possible LAVA VIEWING
