Our light, spacious, open-plan apartment is in the Shorewalk complex, situated on the beautiful central Gulf Coast of Florida. Shorewalk comprises 2-story buildings on 30 acre grounds with mature trees. Paths, well-lit at night, meander around 6 stocked lakes to lead guests to pools and jacuzzi s, lighted tennis courts, basketball court, bocce ball (boules), and a clubhouse with billiard room, table tennis, TV, library, games, and a barbecue area. Drive west along Cortez road to the beautiful Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key, or south down the Tamiami Trail to the galleries, theaters and marinas of cultured Sarasota. Take an air boat ride at Myakka state park. Contact the local astronomical society to see whether they are doing a public viewing. Listen to open-air music at St Armand’s Circle or Lakeland. PLEASE NOTE that on the complex, the following items are not permitted: pets, trailers, RVs, motor homes, trucks, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats or jet-skis. This is an upper-story apartment and is only accessible via an external stair. The apartment itself is all on one level.

Full kitchen: ceramic glass range, 25 cu ft side-by-side fridge-freezer, dishes/cookware/utensils,
dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, slow cooker, Foreman grill.

Lounge/Dining Room: fully furnished.

Utility: air conditioning; washer/dryer; linens, towels, beach towels.

Communications: phone, wi-fi internet in apartment.

Entertainment: in lounge - cable TV (large flat screen), VCR/DVD, stereo radio/CD/cassette; in master b/r – cable TV (flat screen) with integral DVD.

Lanai: Screened, with small table, chairs.

In complex: 2 heated pools, 2 jacuzzi s, 2 tennis courts, shuffleboard, clubhouse, games room.

DEPOSITS:

OTHER FEES:

A single payment of CAD 60 for cleaning the apartment will be added to the rent, irrespective of the length of stay. Lodging tax of 5% of rental and cleaning charge will be added.
